Klaus Hüttemann
Klaus Hüttemann, born in 67, leads the group of companies as managing partner in the second generation. Together with his father Wolf Hüttemann, he developed the family business, which supplied the flourishing coal and steel industry in the Ruhr region with two tippers, into a globally active group of companies.
“Absolute reliability, a focus on the individual needs of our customers and the combination of innovation and tradition are essential ingredients of our recipe for success,” says Klaus Hüttemann. “We combine the virtues of medium-sized companies with the will to grow of the very big ones – that makes us unique.”
Growing up in Krefeld, Klaus Hüttemann first studied economics in Münster and then moved to the European Transport Academy in Duisburg, where he completed his transport specialist diploma. After completing his studies, he learned the practical freight forwarding trade at the Bremen subsidiary Knoche-Barth, and warehouse logistics at the family business in Hanover. In 1998, he then joined the company management in Duisburg. Since his senior left the company more than fifteen years ago, Klaus Hüttemann has been responsible for the company’s fortunes.
He has two children. Besides logistics, his passion is hunting.
