DELOG MERGES INTO M+F
The HUETTEMANN subsidiary delog Logistics has grown to M+F Spedition at the turn of the year. The approximately 30 employees of the consumer goods expert in Dorsten were already informed of this decision in November. “For them, everything remains the same, only the name changes,” says M+F Managing Director Çetin Çelik. “The accretion will allow us to exploit synergy potential between the two subsidiaries, strengthen the M+F brand and expand our industry focus.”
With its locations in Dorsten and Dortmund, delog specialises in food, among other things, and is IFS Logistics certified. It also offers customer-specific procurement and distribution concepts for bulky goods from the home and gardening sectors. With these businesses, M+F can, among other things, compensate for the strong seasonal fluctuations in the toy business, in which it specialises. In addition, there are synergies in the transport and warehousing areas of the two subsidiaries.
