On our joint mission to protect the climate, we are a logistics partner of eWay BW – a pilot project to test trolley trucks in heavy goods transport. To reduce emissions, this form of electrified transport could be the solution of the future. And we would like to actively support this opportunity with our participation. As an innovative logistics service provider, we are already gaining experience in this field and are actively participating in the development. On a test route in Baden-Württemberg, our trucks run in a round trip between our logistics centre in Kuppenheim and a customer from the cardboard manufacturing industry in Gernsbach. Perfect for starting the field test with two special trucks right there. They have a hybrid drive and are supplied with electricity via overhead lines.
